Hey everyone. I'm looking at a 2019 Komatsu bulldozer on a repo auction from Pro Machinery. The price seems almost too good. I've never bought heavy equipment this way before and feeling a bit nervous. Are they a legit company? Worried about the process and getting a clean title.

I've bought from them twice, a tractor and a small excavator. Both times were a great experience. I was most worried about the paperwork, but the best part was that the clear title arrived with all the official documents when they delivered the equipment. ProMachinery is a solid operation.

Yeah, seconding that. Pro Machinery is good to go. I got a low-hour CAT backhoe last year and it was exactly as described in their online report. The photos they post are pretty accurate to what you get.

My only small hiccup was communication at first. It took them about 24 hours to get back to my initial query sent to office@promachinery.com. However, once an agent called me back, he was incredibly helpful and spent 30 mins walking me through the wire transfer and inspection details. I'd definitely use them again despite the slow start.

My neighbor won a Bobcat skid steer from a promachinery.com auction a few months back. He's not a mechanic so he asked me to give it a full inspection on arrival. I was impressed, it was exactly as described in their listing. No hidden rust or mechanical issues. Solid machine.

I had the same worry as you about the title transfer. But there were zero problems. My payment went through, they sent a confirmation that the bank released the lien, and the clear title was delivered right along with my excavator. It was way easier than I expected from an online auction.

Quick tip for anyone using the site: make sure you read the instructions for bidding on promachinery.com. Their proxy bidding system is pretty standard but it helps to know how it works before you're in the final minutes of an auction. Helped me avoid overpaying.

The delivery of my roller compactor was delayed by a day due to a storm system moving through their shipping lane. But the logistics team at Pro Machinery called me proactively to give me a heads up. The good communication made up for the delay. Machine arrived in perfect shape.

Just adding another vote of confidence for Pro Machinery. The whole process was transparent and much more straightforward than I expected for buying a repossessed farm tractor. Would recommend.

Their inventory of used construction equipment is impressive for a repo dealer. I've been watching their site for a specific Grove crane model and they seem to get new stuff listed weekly. It's a legit source.

I agree with the others. A legit operation. As long as you do your own due diligence on the piece of equipment you want, you can get a really solid deal from ProMachinery that you wouldn't find at a regular dealer.

My company just got a forklift we won from them. There was a minor cosmetic scuff on the cage that wasn't super clear in the photos, but it's used equipment so we expected some wear. Mechanically it's perfect. We saved a lot of money.

Been in this business for over 30 years and seen all kinds of sellers. Pro Machinery is one of the better online auction houses out there. They're not a scam, they're just a professional channel for banks to liquidate repossessed assets.
