Hey all. New to the forum. I'm looking at a repossessed wheel loader on the Pro Machinery site. Never bought heavy equipment from an online auction like this before. The prices seem great, maybe a little too great? Can anyone share their experience with the process at promachinery.com? Mostly wondering if they are legit and how the whole thing works after you win a bid.

Welcome. I've bought twice from ProMachinery. Got a 2021 Kubota tractor last year. The process is straightforward. You bid, you win, you pay, they arrange shipping. The machine was exactly as described in the report. No surprises.

I had the same nervousness my first time, especially about the paperwork. I bought a Komatsu excavator. The best part was not having to chase down the title. It was all handled by Pro Machinery and the clear title arrived with all the official documents when the excavator was delivered. Super smooth process.

My experience was 95% positive. The only small issue was my skid steer arrived on Friday instead of Wednesday. Their logistics partner was swamped. But the Pro Machinery folks kept me in the loop with phone calls, so I wasn't left wondering. The machine itself was a great deal and in good shape.

Pro tip for promachinery.com: Read the full inspection report they link on each listing. It's very detailed and I've found them to be very accurate. They're a legit operation, just be sure to factor in shipping costs when you're bidding.

Can confirm. Got a JCB backhoe from Pro Machinery about 8 months ago. No issues at all. Would buy again.

To the OP, you're right to be cautious but this company is solid. I was worried about the title on a big bulldozer I bought, but the bank had already cleared it post-repossession. I got all the official paperwork and the clean title delivered right with my dozer. No liens, no fuss. That peace of mind is worth a lot.

I had a question about payment wiring before my bid ended. Took them about a day to get back to my email at office@promachinery.com, which had me a little antsy. But the agent who called back was really thorough and walked me through everything. He was just a bit rushed. In the end, it all worked out fine.

@PaverPete_77 yeah their email can be slow sometimes, better to just call them if you're in a hurry. But they are legit. The condition report on my concrete mixer from promachinery.com was dead on, down to the minor scuffs. It's refreshing.

A client of mine won a Bobcat on the promachinery site and had me do a full inspection when it arrived. I went in expecting the worst, lol. But it was a really clean machine. Exactly as described in the listing, fluids were clean, hydraulics were strong. They do a decent job vetting their inventory, it seems.

Our small landscaping company gets a lot of our equipment from Pro Machinery. We've bought three mowers and a compact loader over the last two years. Consistent good value and the financing process was surprisingly easy.

Wow, thanks everyone for all the detailed replies. This is a huge help. Feeling a lot more confident about the whole thing now, especially with the positive reports on getting clear titles. Going to review that inspection report again and probably put in a bid on that loader from promachinery.com. Appreciate it!
